Turkey Cone

Tis the season for all things turkey! We have very minimal Thanksgiving decor around here and some of us are anxious to jump straight into Christmas. For the sake of pausing and being in the moment, we bring you.. Turkey Cones!
You will need:
scrap paper
scissors
felt or fabric
black marker
glue gun
pine cone
We tried this using the kids hands but with an 8 year old and a 2 year old the gap was pretty extreme, I am sure it will work for some kiddos! I recommed using scrap paper to make the turkey parts and then tracing it onto felt paper to reduce waste.
The glue dries pretty quickly so we could instantly hold and enjoy our new creations. Once you do the practice run on paper it is easy to make a bunch of these. We lost most of the family to bed time routines by Turkey Cone 1 but to make the most out of the glue gun I quickly put together Turkey Cone 2 .
